Peel featured at Action Sports Retailer trade show

September 5, 2006 THOUSAND OAKS, CA monterey media and Video Action Sports are joining together at the Action Sports Retailer trade show on September 8th in San Diego, CA. As part of their tri-coastal theatrical campaign for Peel: the Peru Project, monterey media has been hosting and co-hosting screenings to benefit national Surfrider Foundation chapters. VAS will show this amazing new surf movie creating waves of excitement in the surf world at their booth this Friday at 3:30 pm. The directors, TJ Barrack and Wes Brown, will also be there to participate in a raffle that will feature a custom Peel surfboard autographed by them both. There will also be autographed Peel t-shirts and DVD’s of the pair’s first film, Islands in the Stream, as well as a box set of Bruce Brown’s, (grandfather of Wes Brown) legendary Endless Summer series. Surfing magazine has generously donated their October 2006 issue, featuring a beautiful full-page advertisement of Peel: the Peru Project, for TJ and Wes to sign for attendees at the screening.
